The ultimate defensive technique lives up to its name, and protects its user from damage in a big way.

For the duration of Ultimate Defense, you take 100 less damage
(after applying resistance).

(This does not protect you from damage caused by spending or sacrificing your own HP.)

If Ultimate Defense reduces the damage of a hit to 0, that hit becomes a miss.
(You do not suffer any ongoing damage from that hit, or other on hit effects from it.)
(Reducing the damage from failing a save to 0 does not protect you from any other effects of failing that save.)

Ultimate Defense lasts for one instance of damage.
Unbreakable 10 Parry Ultimate Defense now lasts until the end of the turn
(turn, not round).
Unscathed 10 Unbreakable Ultimate Defense now lasts until the start of your next turn.
Endure 0 Parry The hit or ability you activate Ultimate Defense against cannot reduce you below 1 HP.

You can now use Ultimate Defense as a reaction when you would be defeated.
Ultimate Defense now lasts until the end of your next turn.
During Ultimate Defense:
If you would die, your death is delayed until Ultimate Defense ends.
You are not defeated if you have 0 HP (or less).
(If you still have 0 HP when it ends, you are defeated then.)
(You still cannot be healed from 0 HP to above 0 HP by normal healing.)

You have AC +1 until the first time you are damaged by an attack in each encounter.
While you are bloodied you lose this bonus.
