Ability

Time:
Trigger
Trigger:
When one of your little buddies dies or is dismissed
Target:
Area centered on a buddy
Defense:
Health save halves

Whenever one of your little buddies is defeated or dismissed you may make it explode, dealing fire damage, which passing a health save halves, to all creatures within a certain radius.

When a Friendship Titan containing your little buddies is defeated or dismissed, you may make any number of your little buddies contained within it explode with the combined power of all of them exploding at once.
If multiple summoners with Goodbye combine their little buddies into one Titan, combine all of the explosions into one.

A little buddy that uses Goodbye is normally destroyed utterly, and the materials used to create it are unsalvageable.

Your Friendship Titan can spend its action to build up energy to prepare to explode. It is very obvious the titan is about to explode. At the start of your next turn, it explodes. It deals fire damage equal to its remaining HP to all creatures within 25 ft. of it, which a DC 18 health save halves, and it is then reduced to 0 HP.
Exploding kills the titan, and so it then also triggers the explosion from Goodbye.
Once your Titan has started the explosion process it is extremely difficult to stop (DC 30 test of Spellcraft).
Simply dismissing your Titan may be a more reliable way to trigger Goodbye.
