You create a thin rectangular wall of hardened light up to 30 ft. long and 30 ft. high.
The wall casts bright light within 30 ft. of it, and dim light for a further 30 ft.
The wall is immune to light damage, has 0 AC, and has an amount of HP based on the caster.
The wall is impassable. Creatures, attacks, and spell effects cannot go through the wall, though they may go around it. Ranged attacks and spells aimed at a creature on the other side of the wall hit the wall instead.
An ability which reduces the wall’s HP to 0 can continue through the wall at its intended target, but it will only deal the overkill damage to that target.

(ex: if the wall has 10 HP left, and you shoot an arrow which deals 20 damage, that arrow will deal 10 damage to the target behind the wall if it hits them.)

(ex: if an arcane ball which deals 20 damage breaks an arcane wall with 10 HP left, any creature behind the wall within the spell’s blast radius will take 10 damage.)

If the wall would cut through a creature or object when it is created, it forms with a hole in it in the shape and size of that creature.

A creature may try a test of strength to break the wall, and deal damage to the wall equal to the result of their test of strength.

Increases to the number of spell damage dice increase the number of dice to roll for the wall’s HP.
