Technique

Trigger:
When you hit with a melee weapon
Cost:
2 stamina
Defense:
Health save reduces

The target gets a health save.
When you use this technique on a Heavy Attack, you may spend 2 more stamina to increase the save DC by 5.

Fail:
The target is staggered until the end of its next turn.
Being staggered is really bad.

Staggered:
You cannot react (unless the reaction is effortless),
you have disadvantage on rolls to hit,
you have disadvantage on tests of skill,
You are off guard (rolls to hit you have advantage),
and other creatures have advantage on saves against your abilities.

Pass:
The target’s next roll to hit has disadvantage.
If this penalty is not used before the end of its next turn, it is lost.
The next roll to hit the target has advantage.
If this bonus is not used before the end of your next turn, it is lost.

You cannot use other techniques with this attack.
