For each point of HP spent, add dark damage to your hit with a melee weapon.

Upgrades to this ability allow you to spend more HP for more damage.

Counterspell:
If this spell is countered, it is countered before you spend HP to power it, which is part of the spell’s effect, so you do not lose any HP.
