When an ally within the range of this aura takes damage, you may take half of that damage, rounded down, for them (so they take half of the damage, and you take the other half).
Damage from spending or sacrificing HP cannot be split with this spell.

Apply your ally’s immunities, resistances, and damage reduction to the damage as normal.
Then take half of that damage as true damage.
Your own immunities, resistances, and damage reductions do not apply to damage you take from this spell.

This spell affects an area around you and moves with you.
While you are incapacitated, this spell does nothing.

You and any willing targets within the range of this aura when you cast this spell combine your remaining health into one health pool shared among all of you. When any of you takes damage, the pool takes damage instead. None of you can be defeated by taking damage until the pool runs out of HP. When the pool runs out of HP, you all are knocked unconscious and defeated.
When used in this way, this spell works across any distance.
If this spell is dispelled or dismissed, you split any remaining HP from the pool equally.
Overuse of this ability may cause the personalities and priorities of the users to swap or average out, knowledge of courses to be traded around, or other aberrations, as the users struggle to retain their individuality.
