Decay Spell

Debuff
Debuffs make their targets worse at something.
Curse
Curses are a type of spell which enchants the target with a debuff.

Defense:
Health save negates
Duration:
Permanent, until cured

The target gets a health save.
Fail:
The target becomes diseased with an affliction that reduces the effectiveness of healing on them, putrefying, blackening, and rotting every wound they suffer.
This disease lasts until it is cured.

Pass:
The target is unaffected.

If you pass a DC 10 test of Spellcraft when you cast it, you may mutate this spell to curse the target instead, allowing it to sap the vital energy from a wider variety of creatures.

A target can only be affected by one Decay spell at a time.

All creatures within 30 ft. of any target affected by your Decay must pass a health save against Decay or also become affected.
(You do not have to pay the cost of casting Decay when you do this).
