Creatures:
Target gets a health save against this curse.
Fail:
If the target fails its save against this spell, you shrink them up to three sizes, to a minimum of tiny, by this curse.
(You may choose to shrink them less.)
(A creature that wants to be shrunk may choose to fail its save.)
Giant -> Huge -> Large -> Medium -> Small -> Tiny
While shrunken, the target has disadvantage on all tests of strength and its speed is halved. Additionally, when they would deal damage with a weapon:
If they would normally roll a die larger than a d4 for damage, they roll a d4 instead (no big dice).
If they would normally roll a d4 for damage, treat it as if it had rolled a 1 instead.
Smaller creatures are easier to grab and drag.
Pass:
If the target passes its save against this spell, it is not shrunk, but the next time it deals damage before the end of its next turn, you may set the result of one of their damage dice to 1.
Items:
The object is shrunk down to a fraction of its size (but typically not to a size significantly smaller than what would fit in your pocket), and its weight is reduced to 1.
If the item is on a creature’s person, they get a save to prevent the item from being shrunk.
You can end this spell as a fast action.
You can also reduce the effect of this spell as a fast action.
