The target is afflicted with a latent curse, which festers within their skin, waiting to unleash a wave of necrotic magic which blackens and rots the wounds it sustains when invoked.
Whenever a cursed target takes damage, you may choose to trigger the curse, causing it to take effect and ending the curse.
When triggered, the curse deals dark damage to the target equal to the amount of HP the target actually lost from the triggering ability, up to a maximum of 10 damage.
This maximum only limits how much damage may be duplicated.
Extra damage added to this spell ignores this maximum.
Intensify:
Intensifying this spell increases the maximum damage it can deal by 5 per level of intensification.
Special Scaling:
Extra damage added to this spell is doubled, and if it is of another type it becomes dark damage.
